My 30 years of experience with clients has given me the insight to recognize resistance to change and the anxiety created when changes are contemplated. Developing a story is exciting when the creative juices are flowing. But like all new behaviors your creativity and production will ebb and flow, with sustained change difficult unless you are prepared to accept the structure and discipline in writing.

The process of storytelling follows a formula to some extent, especially in mystery and suspense thrillers. My goal is to help you tap your creative potential while allowing you to meet self-imposed deadlines. The art of writing is also a science in the sense that plot, character development, pacing, setting, tension, and the 'hook' is critical in grabbing and keeping the reader's attention.

Much of my work has been gleaned through formal study by attending writers' workshops offered by Mystery Writers of America, entering contests, belonging to a writers' support group, and publishing nine novels in five years.
